Van Gerwen heads into Premier League Darts in London on eight match winning streak

On Thursday night, the fifteenth night of the Premier League Darts will be played at the O2 Arena in London. This venue hosted the play-offs of the prestigious tournament from 2012 to 2019.

Michael van Gerwen holds good memories of the O2 Arena, as it is the place where he managed to win his five Premier League titles. He also lost twice in the final there.

The 33-year-old has played fourteen matches at the O2 Arena and won twelve of them. Gary Anderson triumphed in three of his seven matches, while James Wade won three of his eight.

Peter Wright and Michael Smith played twice during the Premier League in London and both won one game. Gerwyn Price, Jonny Clayton and Joe Cullen make their debut at the O2 Arena.
