Michael van Gerwen has moved to the top of the Premier League Darts table at least for now after another incredible display to end the latest block averaging 107 in an 8-3 win over James Wade.

Wade similar to Dimitri van den Bergh a few nights ago didn't do a lot wrong averaging 110 but was on the wrong side of a brilliant display from Mighty Mike who hit three ton plus finishes and 66% on the doubles.
Van Gerwen started ominously with a 94 checkout for a 12-dart opening salvo against Wade. 'The Machine' produced an instant reply with a maximum and 81 checkout to make it 1-1.
The finishing brilliance continued with a 78 checkout to move 2-1 up before a potentially pivotal moment in the tie.
Wade missed two darts at doubles and Van Gerwen went 3-2 ahead and backed that up with an emphatic 135 checkout to make it 4-2.
He found double 16 to consolidated a break to go 5-2 up and once again broke with a 104 checkout to leave Wade who was averaging towards 110 but wasn't getting a look in.
Van Gerwen continued to run riot with a 104 checkout and an 84 checkout to go 7-2 up and one away from an emphatic win.

Wade stopped the rot in the form of a 132 checkout to trail 7-3 while averaging 109 but this proved a consolation as Mighty Mike surged to victory.
