Van Trijp reflects on failed Q-School tilt: "The level was really high this time"

Danny van Trijp has failed to capture a PDC Tour Card. The 24-year-old Dutchman survived the pre school phase at Q-School, but things went wrong in the final stage.

Van Trijp, for whom it was the third participation in Q-School, had nevertheless went to Niedernhausen in Germany with the ambition to claim a Tour Card.

"I went for the day win, because I knew I can. The level was really high this time, with 128 good players. A Tour Card would have been great, I did play well but couldn't get it, "said Van Trijp to BN DeStem.

The 24-year-old Dutchman certainly does not give up hope for a Tour Card yet. "Next year I will just try again, first through the Challenge Tour by finishing in the top two if possible."
