Van Trijp seals maiden PDC Challenge Tour title at Event Nine

Danny van Trijp has sealed a maiden PDC Challenge Tour title with victory in Event Nine to end the second day of action in Niedernhausen.

Van Trijp joins Stephen Burton today in sealing a title and he saw off David Pallett, Matthew Edgar, Christian Kist and finally Lukas Wenig.

Players can earn reserve spots for the Pro Tour 2022 and Tour Cards for 2023 and 2024 on the Challenge Tour. The highest ranked players on the PDC Challenge Tour Order of Merit are eligible for the reserve spots at the Players Championships.

The top two on the Challenge Tour ranking at the end of the season are offered a PDC Tour Card for the following two seasons. In addition, they are also allowed to participate in the PDC World Darts Championship.
