It is a third PDC Development Tour title of the season and a second this weekend for the rising Dutch talent, Gian van Veen.
Van Veen sealed Event 10 to end the weekend in Wigan after winning Event Eight yesterday and Event Four earlier this season.
He saw off Bradly Roes 5-1 in the final also seeing off Jarred Cole, Jurjen van der Velde and Wessel Nijman in the latter stages. All of this while not playing all the events after being in European Tour action on Friday, a sterling effort from the Dutchman.
Albeit he won't leave with the lead with Luke Littler still top albeit marginally and Van Veen in second with both having a lead over Wessel Nijman next up.
The PDC Development Tour circuit consists of 24 tournaments. At each Development Tour tournament, there is a prize fund of £15,000 to be distributed.
With the prize money, a ranking is established. At the end of the season, the numbers one and two receive an invitation to the PDC World Darts Championship, plus a Tour Card for 2024 and 2025.
