Wessel Nijman has won the twelfth PDC Development Tour tournament of the year. He booked his second tournament victory of the season in Hildesheim.
The Dutchman reached the final after victories over Luke Littler (4-1), Jurjen van der Velde (4-1), Filip Ljubenko (5-1) and Rusty-Jake Rodriguez , before beating Dylan Slevin 5-1. boss in the final battle.
The PDC Development Tour is the training institute of the PDC . Talented players have the opportunity to further develop their gift on this circuit. Players may enter as soon as they reach the age of sixteen. They may then participate up to and including the season in which they turn 24.
Prize money distribution during PDC Development Tour
Each tournament is worth £15,000 in prize money, so the prize pool for the entire circuit of 24 tournaments in total is £360,000.
From reaching the last 64, players can earn prize money, starting with £75. That amount then increases per round. The winner collects a nice amount of 2500 pounds.

- I completely agree with Vincent's comments on "whistlegate". It's great to have someone with Vincent's exprience address this issue, so hopefully clearer and stricter guidlelines can be given to referees, security and members of the crowd. No whistling during throws, and something like: whistlers evicted and fined a hefty sum.
