The eighth Development Tour of the season has been won by Gian van Veen who seals his second title of the season after a rapid return from Leeuwarden.
Van Veen lost yesterday to Gabriel Clemens and was sat in the crowd during the evening session with seemingly the rising Dutch star set to miss the weekend in Wigan.
But seemingly he decided to travel and has already made his trip worthwhile seeing off Thomas Banks in the final of Event Eight.
Luke Littler who is yet to reach a final this weekend keeps adding money to his title but isn't experiencing the dominance of last time. He lost in the Quarter-Finals to Nathan Rafferty.
The PDC Development Tour circuit consists of 24 tournaments. At each Development Tour tournament, there is a prize fund of £15,000 to be distributed.
With the prize money, a ranking is established. At the end of the season, the numbers one and two receive an invitation to the PDC World Darts Championship, plus a Tour Card for 2024 and 2025.
