Now one of the most highly touted members of the new class of the PDC ProTour,
Gian van Veen continued to show that talent on Saturday evening winning PDC
Development Tour Event Four in MIlton Keynes.
Van Veen saw off Adam Paxton in the final 5-2 after previously defeating Sebastian Bialecki and Owen Bates in the latter stages and adds to his triumph in DT 18 last year in Hildesheim.
Luke Littler though ends today going into tomorrow's final tournament as the leader on the Order of Merit after reaching a second Quarter-Final after a previous title and final for the 16-year-old.
The PDC Development Tour circuit consists of 24 tournaments. At each Development Tour tournament, there is a prize pool of £15,000 to be distributed.
With the prize money, a ranking is established. At the end of the season, the numbers one and two receive an invitation to the World Darts Championship, plus a Tour Card for 2024 and 2025.
