They might be rivals on the oche, but how well do the Premier League Darts stars really know each other? Recently, they were put to the test and challenged to recognise their fellow competitors from childhood photos! Can Michael van Gerwen spot an even younger Luke Littler? Will Gerwyn Price recognize his old darting foes in their school days? Find out right here!
The Premier League Darts is a seventeen-week competition where the world's best players go head-to-head each week, all competing for the grand prize of £275,000. Each year, the announcement of the Premier League Darts lineup is eagerly awaited. This year, the eight selected players were announced as Luke Humphries, Luke Littler, Michael van Gerwen, Rob Cross, Stephen Bunting, Gerwyn Price, Chris Dobey, and Nathan Aspinall.
Right now, Littler leads the standings. After seven match nights, he sits six points clear of second-placed Humphries. Van Gerwen rounds out the top three, already eight points behind Littler. After sixteen match nights, the top four players will qualify for the playoffs at London’s O2 Arena. But how well do these players really know each other? More importantly—can they recognize each other from childhood photos? Find out in the video below!

- obviously littler has the potential to surpass everybody simply because nobody has been this good at this age before, but people who think he would be any kind of favourite right now against prime taylor in a big final have short memories. it's obvious that prime taylor wouldn't win as many world titles if he was playing today, but there's also good reason to believe he'd be winning more than anybody else. hell, his statistical profile still stands alone in darts history and he might statistically be even better if he was playing today with better equipment, larger beds, more competition therefore more motivation, etc.colt24-03-2025
