One fan seemed to not be a fan of Peter Wright defeating Michael van Gerwen and took their frustrations out by throwing a pint at 'Snakebite' after his win at the Nordic Darts Masters.
Wright saw off Van Gerwen 1`0-9 but while he was covered in glory, he was nearly covered in beer too as Wright pointed at the puddle and warned Van Gerwen not to step in it.
In a post on Twitter, Matthew Edgar said: "Looks like someone has thrown their drink at Peter Wright after he beat MVG. I mean why wait all year for the World Series to come to you, and then treat the players like that?"
It didn't prove to be a bad omen for Wright who went on to scoop the title on Saturday night.
