Haines becomes 11th week winner in MODUS Super Series

Johnny Haines became the 11th weekly winner in the second season of the MODUS Super Series on Saturday night in Portsmouth.

The best six players from the first five days of play met Saturday divided into two groups during the final day of this week of play.

Haines was first assigned to Group A with Mark Lawrence and Paul Linwood. 'The Punk' won both group matches, while Lawrence claimed victory in the match against Linwood to advance to the knockout stage as number two.

In Group B, Neil Duff, Kevin Edwards and Mark McGeeney all won one match. Based on leg balance, Duff and Edwards advanced to the semi-finals.

Haines then beat Edwards 4-1 in the first semi-final, while Duff was too strong for Lawrence 4-1. Haines then took the weekly title by beating Duff 4-1 in the final.
