Rob Cross secured himself a double Down Under success on the
World Series of Darts Tour courtesy of an 8-1 smashing of home crowd favourite,
Damon Heta in the final of the
New South Wales Darts Masters.
In a brilliant session of darts on Saturday, Cross defeated Danny Noppert in the quarter-final before romping to victory against Peter Wright in the semi-final in a whitewash 7-0 win, averaging almost 110.
Heta's route to the final meanwhile, delighted the crowd as the Aussie sent Gerwyn Price packing in the quarter-final, before prevailing in a nail-biting, last-leg decider in the semi-final, 7-6 over Dimitri van den Bergh.
