Sunday night the final at the
European Darts Open in Leverkusen was between
Michael van Gerwen and
Dimitri van den Bergh.
Van Gerwen reached the final after defeating Daryl Gurney (6-3), Jonny Clayton (6-4), Dirk van Duijvenbode (6-5) and Luke Humphries (7-2). Van den Bergh beat Cameron Menzies (6-1), Martin Schindler (6-4) and Josh Rock (6-1) to reach his first Euro Tour final. The Belgian played one game less than Van Gerwen because James Wade withdrew sick for their semi-final.
However, Van den Bergh will have to wait a little longer for his first Euro Tour title, as the win in Leverkusen went to Van Gerwen. Watch the final in the video below.
