No less than one hundred Euro Tour tournaments Gary Anderson had to wait for a new Euro Tour title. 'The Flying Scotsman' had won the German Darts Championship in 2014 and sealed the European Darts Grand Prix.
Last weekend the European Darts Grand Prix was played. This event in Sindelfingen was the 114th tournament in the history of the Euro Tour. After a number of exciting matches, Anderson sealed the trophy.
After Anderson won over Christian Perez (6-3) and Gerwyn Price (6-4), the Scot was in action Sunday night in the final session of this tournament. He escaped elimination against Josh Rock, defeating him 6-5 in the quarter-finals. The two-time world champion then battled past Rob Cross, who was defeated 7-5.
