Last weekend the European Darts Matchplay was on the program. The PDC has put online a recap of the finals session featuring the quarterfinals, semifinals and final.
Raymond van Barneveld and Gian van Veen's impressive runs in the event came to an end as they lost in the quarterfinals to Joe Cullen and James Wade respectively.
Dirk van Duijvenbode advanced with a brilliant win over world champion Michael Smith, while Luke Humphries dealt with Nathan Aspinall in his quarterfinal.
Then Van Duijvenbode was too strong for Cullen in the semifinals, while Humphries triumphed against Wade after a wonderful fight. The final proved to be another thriller. After missed matchdarts by both players, Humphries managed to take the title in Trier at the expense of Van Duijvenbode.
