Complete lineup for Poland Darts Masters 2023 known including Van Gerwen, Price, and Michael Smith

On July 7 and 8, the Poland Darts Masters is scheduled to take place in Warsaw, Poland. It is the first time a PDC tournament will be played in Poland.

As with any World Series tournament, the field of participants consists of 16 players. In the first round, the eight PDC players will take on eight local darters.

Michael Smith, Michael van Gerwen, Gerwyn Price, Rob Cross, Luke Humphries, Dimitri van den Bergh and Nathan Aspinall are the players who received a wildcard from the PDC. For Noppert it will be his first World Series tournament outside the Netherlands, after receiving invitations for several World Series tournaments in Amsterdam in the past.

The Eastern European representation includes six Tour Card holders. These are Krzysztof Ratajski, Krzysztof Kciuk, Radek Szaganski, Boris Krcmar, Karel Sedlacek and Adam Gawlas. To these have been added Nandor Major and Lukasz Waclawski.

How much prize money is to be won?

The total prize pool for this tournament includes 60,000 pounds, in addition to the fact that regular PDC players will also receive additional compensation for their appearance at the tournament.

So on top of that comes the prize money, which starts at £1,250. This can eventually go up to a sum of £20,000 for the winner of the tournament.

In addition to prize money, there are also points to be earned for the World Series Order of Merit. Through this ranking, the top eight qualify for the World Series Finals later this year in Amsterdam.

What are the World Series of Darts?

World Series tournaments are PDC international events organized to promote the sport beyond its (Western) European borders.

Earlier this year, tournaments also took place in Bahrain, Denmark and the United States, and after the tournament in Poland, tournaments in Australia and New Zealand will also be completed.

Past World Series tournaments have included Dubai, Singapore, Japan, Scotland, China, Germany and Austria.
