The darting stars were out in force last night in Glasgow as the second night of action from the 2025
Premier League Darts took place. This year, Village Hotels are one of the tournament sponsors for the Premier League, and recently they asked the likes of
Luke Littler,
Luke Humphries and
Michael van Gerwen some revealing questions.
In a video posted to Village Hotels official X (Twitter) account, the aforementioned trio, along with
Gerwyn Price,
Stephen Bunting,
Rob Cross,
Nathan Aspinall and
Chris Dobey are asked if they can reveal their hotel habits. First up is the topic of breakfast, with Littler quickly answering: "I miss breakfast 80 percent of the time!"
"I know what Chris (Dobey ed.) has for breakfast," Aspinall adds with a cheeky smile. "He gets up right, he has his Coco Pops, then he has some toast with Nutella. I'm never there though am I?"
Stephen Bunting and Luke Humphries has been two of the stars of the last 12 months in PDC darts. It's fair to say their breakfast tastes are a little different though. "Poached eggs, toast, sausage, a bit of bacon in there too," Bunting says of his preference. Humphries then adds: "I like avocado," much to Bunting's dismay.
Given they are so focused on their darts though, it would be easy for the players to forget something during their stays in hotels. "I always forget something but it's always something different," admits Van Gerwen with a wry smile. "Toothpaste, toothbrush, deodorant... Bring two righht shoes or two left." For Rob Cross meanwhile, there is a different problem. "I never pack my own case," he laughs.
In Glasgow on Thursday night, it was Luke Littler who took the nightly win, beating Luke Humphries 6-5 in the final. See the full Village Hotels Q&A in the
