A Slovak amateur dart player provided an absolute highlight of his darts career last year by throwing a nine-darter during a match at a pub.
Jozef Vavrek, as the man is called, started the sixth leg of his match against Mika Frantisek with two 180 scores. He then threw a 141 finish, followed by a huge burst of joy.
It was noteworthy, however, that prior to Vavrek's final turn, a waitress was still walking between the two players. Fortunately, that did not distract Vavrek. Watch footage of the nine darter in the video below.

- I completely agree with Vincent's comments on "whistlegate". It's great to have someone with Vincent's exprience address this issue, so hopefully clearer and stricter guidlelines can be given to referees, security and members of the crowd. No whistling during throws, and something like: whistlers evicted and fined a hefty sum.
