Scott Williams love him or loathe him lives up to his showman stage persona and while he asked for the crowd to bring it on as he plays better, he also responded when given abuse while he was throwing a dart at the
German Darts Grand Prix.
Williams faced practice partner
Josh Rock and was defeated 6-2 with 'Shaggy' losing his eighth match in a row against 'Rocky'.
But as they were throwing practice darts one fan in particular kept shouting at Williams answering his beckoning call but promptly got shut down. Williams decided instead of listening to it to throw his darts then brandish a middle finger at the fan.
This as ever with Williams has divided opinion with some calling him box office and others say it is not needed in the game. But Williams no doubt will have the DRA on the phone at some point given it was in the eye line of the camera.
All of this was going on while the commentators themselves said: "It's fair to say he's not a favourite of the fans here in Munich". While he couldn't get the win, he certainly made headlines.
