Adrian Lewis not only possesses tremendous darts talent, the two-time world champion can also sing quite well. One song is invariably in his repertoire at exhibition events across the country.
The darter from Stoke-on-Trent was booked for an exhibition tournament in Boston, England. There, 'Jackpot' played with Raymond van Barneveld, Scott Williams and Simon Whitlock last Saturday. Lewis won the event by beating Van Barneveld 5-1 in the final.
Lewis surprised the audience by not only throwing darts, but also by taking the microphone and singing Robbie Williams' karaoke classic Angels. It led to a wonderful minute-long musical performance, which was met with much applause from the fans in attendance.
The 39-year-old Englishman has not been on the PDC circuit for over a year and a half, but has been playing demonstration events. Next season, Lewis plans to return to darts more often. He has already agreed to compete in the MODUS Super Series in 2025.
