Damon Heta and Rob Cross are the first two players to secure a spot in the last sixteen at the European Darts Open.
Heta was too strong for Andy Boulton in an evenly matched tie 6-4. Almost over the entire match, the difference between the two players was never more than one leg, until the tenth leg as Heta produced a blockbuster 143 for the win.
Cross impressed a lot in his match against Ryan Joyce. Thanks to an average of 105, three 180 scores and a finish percentage of 55 per cent, he put Ryan Joyce to the sword 6-1.
