At the fourth time of asking,
James Wade has finally sealed his first night win in this year's
Premier League Darts seeing off Joe Cullen in Manchester.
Prior to this, the in-form Machine was clinical until the final which is where he fell on three consecutive weeks but this time he defeated Cullen in a 6-5 win with a 105.5 average and 67% on the doubles to seal it and boost his play-off hopes further.
Cullen started with the early impetus hitting a 107 checkout to double his advantage but Wade hit back and gained the momentum making it 2-2 before hitting the front and continuing to edge away with 'The Rockstar' also keeping pace including going seven darts in to a nine-dart finish
He went one away from the title though with a 68 checkout to make it 5-4 but was sent all the way by Cullen who found double 16 to make it 5-5.
But with Cullen well back on 148, Wade sealed it with a 15-darter on double 20 for a 64 checkout and he finally has his night victory.
