James Wade will face Nathan Aspinall this evening in the second round of the 2022 World Matchplay off the back of seeing off Martin Lukeman.
Wade technically produced his worst display at the Blackpool tournament with his lowest average in his 55 games.
He hit 85.20 against Lukeman which is his worst also in three years with the previous low being in 2019 against Glen Durrant. Before that, it went all the way back to his 2007 winning run where he saw off Dennis Priestley. Back then he averaged 86.67.
