In a vintage display from James Wade, he is through to the Last 16 of the Grand Slam of Darts topping Group C in the process.
Wade hit a 113 average to defeat Rob Cross in a 5-2 victory who joins 'The Machine' in the knockout stages in second place.
To start the game though, Cross already sealed his spot by claiming a solitary leg to trail 3-1.
But needing a win to join him, the Aldershot ace went on to win 5-2 with 50% on the doubles, a high checkout of 121 and four 180's.
This cruelly eliminated Jim Williams who produced a convincing 5-1 win over Boris Krcmar but he needed Wade to lose or win 5-4 or 5-0 to seal a spot and with it ending 5-2, he heads out.
