James Wade added the first two points to his tally at the Champions League of Darts to bring himself back into contention with victory over Gary Anderson.
Wade was 9-7 down against Anderson but hit a 121 checkout to set up a deciding leg which he won; this as a result went some way to knocking out 'The Flying Scotsman' which was finished off later by Michael van Gerwen.
'The Machine' spoke afterwards and said that he is pleased that he still has a chance to go through and that he had opportunities and made the most of it as a result.
"I'm happy because I've still got a chance," said Wade. "In my opinion, Gary's the best player in the world when he's on form but I did enough at the right times and did the job.
"I was quite disappointed to lose to Michael but Gary gave me the opportunities and I made the most of it."
