16-year-old Littler grabs weekly title in MODUS Super Series on debut

Luke Littler completed his debut on the MODUS Super Series last Saturday with the weekly title. As a result, 'The Nuke' will soon be allowed to compete in the Champions Week, competing for the top prize of £20,000.

The 16-year-old Littler's participation in the MODUS Super Series was already special. The circuit is normally for players aged 18 and above because of collaborations with betting companies, but because of Littler's special talent, an exception was made for him.

Littler was first assigned to Group A with James Richardson and Richard North. Littler managed to win both matches, while North won the mutual duel with Richardson.

In Group B, Alexander Merkx managed to win his duels against Nathan Girvan and Alex Spellman, while Girvan was too strong for Spellman.

Littler then beat Girvan 4-3 in the first semi-final, while North was too strong for Merkx 4-0. Littler then took the weekly title by beating Girvan 4-0 in the final. This earned the young Englishman a cheque for £5,000.
