Harry Ward claimed victory over Madars Razma coming from the brink to defeat the Latvian ace and he described the feeling of scaling the Alexandra Palace stage for the first time.

Ward said that as expected he was nervous after previously going into the game full of confidence due to previous practice.
He also said that the crowd were brilliant and to receive the support he got he described as 'awesome'.
"I was really confident before the game started. I felt confident in my ability, I've been practising well. When I went up there, it turned to nerves," said Ward to LiveDarts during the post match press conference.
"As soon as he was one leg away from victory, I relaxed. It's a very strange feeling, the crowd were amazing, they were chanting my name and I think it was awesome."
Ward discussed facing off against Simon Whitlock and said that it is tied between the pair so there will be bragging rights on offer.
"He still can perform better than anyone. I played him in my first game as a Tour Card holder this year and I managed to win; we played later on in the year and he beat me with a 110 average and he said to me afterwards I remember the first game, it's 1-1 now. I'll be relaxed, he's been there loads of times so hopefully we have a good game."
"I'd love to follow in Nathan Aspinall's footsteps. I've spoken to Nathan quite a bit actually, we had a great conversation and he gave me some great pointers."
