Wedding bells for Gabriel Clemens as German darting ace gets married

Gabriel Clemens spent his time off the oche wisely ahead of the return of the ProTour next week. The German darting ace got married over this past week as he shared images ahead of his return to the sport.

Clemens who is now German Number Two behind Martin Schindler albeit narrowly with both occupying 24th and 25th in the rankings got married in Mallorca to his partner Lisa.

He then shared videos also of the aftermath of his wedding as he went home to watch Reggae and German hiphop duo SDP back home in Berlin on his birthday. Also on his Instagram story, he showed off his cake which was interesting to say the least with what looks like sausages and Maggi Liquid Seasoning bottles on the top. "Anyone can make a normal wedding cake," he wrote translated from German.

But he also put that he was back to his day job next week which is darts with Players Championship events pencilled in starting Wednesday and also Thursday. They will take place in Milton Keynes unlike last time so Clemens will have to head back to the UK with the race to the World Grand Prix firmly on the agenda.

" What a week. First married the best woman in the world @et_lisa_88," he wrote on Instagram.

"Then to Mallorca and Berlin with friends... Met the best wedding singer ever @rickarena in Mallorca. Relaxed in Berlin for a few days with friends and attended a mega concert on my birthday by @sdp_die_band, I can really only recommend it to everyone."
