Welsh Open moved to October due to Corona pandemic

The Welsh Open has been moved to October due to the Coronavirus pandemic, it has been revealed.

In changes to the calendar, some events were cancelled which were the Austrian Open Vienna and Vienna Darts Open.

As well as Antwerp and Belgium Open which were due to take place in June and August.

While the Welsh Open and Classic have been moved to the weekend of October 22, likely to give the tournament as much chance of taking place as possible when restrictions could be eased.
