Whitehead hits stunning 115 average during victory over in-form De Sousa, Price and Wright also hit 110+ averages in second round victories

The stunning averages continue to be hit in Players Championship events as multiple 105+ averages were recorded in the second round of action in Barnsley.

This includes Conan Whitehead who out of nowhere hit a 115 average to see off Jose de Sousa who has been in terrific form as of late and in losing 6-2 himself hit a 103 average.

Big names such as Gerwyn Price, Peter Wright and Raymond van Barneveld also hit the heights. This was seen with 113, 111 and 104 average recorded.

There was a new record set only ten days ago for 100+ averages and it could well be broken once again showing the increasing standard at only the second round stage.
