After three days, the first phase of UK Q-School has concluded. In total, 128 players will make a push from Thursday to Sunday to capture the coveted PDC Tour Card.
One of the players to book a place in the final stage is John Henderson. The 52-year-old Scot, who led his country to victory at the World Cup of Darts in 2021, was among the sixteen players who qualified automatically from UK Q-School in Milton Keynes. His campaign began with three consecutive whitewash victories, including two matches with a 101.55 average, an impressive feat for someone competing at the highest level for over two decades. Henderson then defeated compatriot Darren Armstrong to seal his spot in the final stage.
Alongside Henderson, other established names also advanced to the final stage. Scott Mitchell, the former Lakeside champion, and Wayne Jones, a World Championship semi-finalist in 2005 and 2006, likewise claimed automatic qualification. In addition to these sixteen direct qualifiers, a further 47 players progressed via the UK Q-School Order of Merit. A notable name to clinch the final remaining spot is John Part, the three-time world champion from Canada, who hopes to regain a PDC Tour Card for the first time since 2018.
The final stage of UK Q-School takes place from 01/08/2026 to 01/11/2026. During this last phase, PDC Tour Cards will be awarded: the last two players standing on each matchday receive an automatic card. The remaining cards go to players who finish high enough on the Q-School Order of Merit. If there is a points shortfall or a tie, players are separated by leg difference, legs won, and the DartConnect average across all matches played.
The final stage field also features several eye-catching names. Charlie Manby, who reached the fourth round on his World Championship debut, will line up against the likes of Fallon Sherrock, Devon Petersen, and veteran Mervyn King. The final stage therefore promises a tense and fiercely contested battle, with established stars and rising talents vying for a place on the PDC Tour.
