Scott Williams has ended the latest weekend of Challenge Tour action by sealing his fourth title of the season in the form of Event 20 extending his lead to almost insurmountable going into the final four tournaments.
Williams is almost certain to play at the Grand Slam of Darts representing the Challenge Tour but of course the interesting aspect will be that 'Shaggy' is currently provisionally qualified for the World Championship through the ProTour and could end the season inside the top 64.
So all eyes will also be on the second and third spot with Robert Owen and Danny van Trijp as well as Stephen Burton, Jurjen van der Velde, Karel Sedlacek and David Pallett further back for potentially those two spots.
En route, Williams saw off Kai Fan Leung (5-2), Dan Read (5-1) and Thibault Tricole (5-2) in the final in the latter stages in a tough route through.
