Williams wins second Challenge Tour title with victory over Smith-Neale in Event Two

Jim Williams has joined Darren Beveridge in the winners’ circle on Day One of PDC UK Challenge Tour action after defeating Adam Smith-Neale in the final.

Williams won an event during the 2020 season and will hope that this is finally the catalyst for the former World Championship finalist to reach his potential in the PDC.

He defeated the former World Master 5-4 after taking out the aforementioned Beveridge and Nathan Rafferty in the latter stages.

The action resumes on Saturday with a double dose of action once more with the Challenge Tour split this year with European and UK tournaments due to travel restrictions.
