"Would be good to become the third player to achieve that" - Luke Humphries dreaming of Premier League Darts history in Dublin

Luke Humphries will look for his third consecutive weekly Premier League Darts title in Dublin tonight. That would equal the record held by Michael van Gerwen and Michael Smith.

Humphries will take on Peter Wright in the quarterfinals on Night 8. "Dublin holds a special place in my Mum's heart," said the 29-year-old Englishman, who is also leader overall. "My Grandad was Irish and I’ve never had the opportunity to play in Ireland before, so I’m really looking forward to it."

"I know Michael Smith and Michael van Gerwen have won three nights in a row, so it would be good to become the third player to achieve that," continued 'Cool Hand Luke'.

Humphries has been outstanding in recent weeks, but is certainly not starting to getting too far ahead of himself. "Things can change so quickly though, so it’s important for me to keep working hard and try and get myself in that top four at the end of the season."
