Wright-De Sousa and Cross-Bunting among Quarter-Finals at Players Championship 27

The Quarter-Finals are confirmed at Players Championship 27 with Peter Wright, Rob Cross and Gary Anderson still involved in the hunt for the penultimate ProTour title of the weekend.

Wright stopped the Rock as he defeated the rising Northern Irish talent, Josh Rock in a 6-5 win with a 96 average, with Jose de Sousa next who ended the run of future Tour Card holder in waiting, Danny van Trijp.

While Gary Anderson averaged 102 in breezing past Chris Dobey 6-2 and will face Ryan Meikle who also averaged 102 in seeing off Martin Lukeman.

In the top half, it is Callan Rydz facing Alan Soutar, while Rob Cross will take on Stephen Bunting but who seals the title today?
