Special De Sousa seals superb deciding leg win over Price, Van den Bergh punishes wasteful Ratajski

The semi-final line-up is complete at the German Darts Open and joining Joe Cullen and Peter Wright will be Jose de Sousa and Dimitri van den Bergh vying for the 11th European Tour of the season in Jena.

De Sousa sealed his win in style in a deciding leg win over Gerwyn Price as he punished 'The Iceman' to the hilt for missing a match dart.

'The Special One' in response pinned a 126 checkout on the bull in a dramatic last leg shootout as he averaged 95 with two 180's in defeating the World Number One.

While for Van den Bergh, it was all about punishing wasteful doubling from Krzysztof Ratajski who like his tie against Rob Cross this afternoon couldn't produce on the outer ring but this time 'The Dreammaker' punished him.

Van den Bergh after Ratajski had missed darts to hold went 4-1 up with a 125 checkout on double 20 only to be broken back immediately by 'The Polish Eagle' who went 4-3 behind from there.

But Van den Bergh after Ratajski missed bull for an 86 checkout returned for 92 to punish and in the last leg of the tie, he finished off with a flourish in a 120 checkout.
