There is only one match left of the fifth round at the 2020 UK Open with Peter Wright and Gary Anderson both successfully through to the Last 16 in Minehead.
Wright came through once again in an absolute battle against Ian White with the 2017 champion who will be looking for his third TV title in a row reeling off five consecutive legs and averaging 101.5 to claim a 10-6 win over 'Diamond' who's wait for a breakthrough run continues.
Anderson on the other hand was behind against Simon Stevenson in a closely fought tie but when it went to 5-4, 'The Flying Scotsman' pounced on crucial missed doubles from 'The Mirror Man' to win through in a 10-5 victory.
Gabriel Clemens is also through continuing his under the radar run on the outer boards by seeing off Andy Boulton who has impressed this weekend 10-6 with a 99.5 average. Can 'The German Giant' complete a landmark run this weekend?
Dimitri van den Bergh has similarly gone under the radar seeing off Matthew Edgar 10-4 - with the Daventry ace not able to reproduce the form that got him to this position meaning a poor end to a brilliant tournament for the star of 'Edgar TV'.
