Peter Wright is back to winning ways in the Premier League after a brilliant victory over Nathan Aspinall as the action continues in Exeter.
Wright was soundly beaten last week by Gerwyn Price; but showed some of his form as of late at the Westpoint Arena smashing in a 110 average in a 7-3 win.
'Snakebite' started emphatically claiming three consecutive legs after going 1-0 behind; with two 180's and a 108 average as he went 3-1 up. Aspinall though kept in it despite that with a 13-darter.
He stayed in tough at 4-3 behind but this was soon rendered irrelevant with Wright extended his average and lead to 113 as he guaranteed himself a point at the very least. There was to be no comeback for Aspinall as Wright claimed a 7-3 win from there to add two more points to his tally.
