The PDC Pro Tour consists of the Players Championship and European Tour tournaments. In total, there are 34 Players Championships and as many as 14 Euro Tours on the calendar. Of the 223 players who participated in at least one of these tournaments last year, only three darters managed to win more than 100 matches. Two of these three players are Dutch.

Nijman well in the lead, Van Veen follows

Wessel Nijman is the player who managed to win the most matches on the Pro Tour last year. The Dutchman won a total of 90 matches at Players Championships, and emerged victorious 24 times at a Euro Tour tournament. This brings his total to 114 matches won on the Pro Tour, and an overall win percentage of 71.3%. Nijman also managed two Players Championship tournaments to his name this year with PC 30 and PC 34, which comes as no surprise with these numbers.
The number two on this list is also a Dutchman, namely none other than Gian van Veen. 'The Giant', who managed to win his very first major title at the European Darts Championship last month, was also very successful on the Pro Tour this year. With no less than 81 Players Championship wins and 24 victories on the European Tour, his total comes to 105, just nine less than Nijman. This means that Van Veen managed to win no less than 70.5% of his matches. This resulted in one title, when he won Players Championship 6.
The third and final player to record more than 100 wins on the Pro Tour in 2025 is Ross Smith. While 'Smudger's performance at major TV tournaments may have been somewhat disappointing this year, the same cannot be said about his results at Players Championships and Euro Tours. Smith won no less than 85 matches at PC tournaments and was too strong 19 times on the European Tour, giving him just one less match than Van Veen with a total of 104 wins. The Englishman owes these figures in part to the fact that he managed to win two floor tournaments this year with PC 16 and PC 29.

More Dutch in the Top 10

However, the Dutch success on the Pro Tour does not end here, because there are three more Dutchmen in the Top-10. First of all Jermaine Wattimena, who is in fourth place with 94 wins. The Machine Gun' won his first title at the PDC this year by winning PC 23, and not much later he won his second floor tournament in Event 31. He managed to win a total of 78 times at a Players Championship tournament this year, and also won a further 16 matches on the European Tour, bringing his win percentage to 67.1.
Dirk van Duijvenbode occupies sixth place. Although 'Aubergenius' did not manage to win a title this year, he did reach the final at the last Euro Tour tournament this year. And also during PC 17 he managed to reach the final, unfortunately for the Dutchman he could not win either one. Still, with a total of 85 wins, 63 on the floor and 22 on the European Tour, he has a nice win percentage of 64.9%.
The last Dutchman in the Top 10 is Danny Noppert, who is in eighth place. Like Van Duijvenbode, 'The Freeze' did not manage to win a title on the Pro Tour this year, but boasts similar numbers to his compatriot. He too managed to reach the final on the Euro Tour once, and reached the semifinals several times during a Players Championship tournament. In total, Noppert managed 84 wins, just one less than Van Duijvenbode. 69 of this total came at the Players Championships, while he managed to win 15 matches on the European Tour. This brings the Friesian's win percentage to 65.1%.
The other players in the Top 10 are Damon Heta (fifth place with 94 wins), Martin Schindler (seventh place with 84 wins), Gerwyn Price (ninth place with 82 wins) and Stephen Bunting (10th place with 82 wins). There are also two more Dutchmen and one Belgian on this list. Niels Zonneveld is in spot 18 with a total of 68 wins, not far below is Mike De Decker in spot 20 with 64 wins and the last in the list is Kevin Doets in spot 21 with a total of 63 wins on the Pro Tour.
