Luke Littler's stark rise to fame will of course come with the good and the bad and Emma Raducanu similarly experienced that during her rise to fame after winning the 2021 US Open.

Raducanu has struggled with the weight of expectation since as well as injury problems and she gave advice as to how she dealt with it. But when asked about him, she said that she would love to meet him.

Littler was more of a teen prodigy than Raducanu was so the comparisons only come with becoming overnight sensations in newspapers and a household name. But still the Brit is perhaps an evidence of where it slightly hasn't gone fully right as of now and perhaps a warning to him.

"Amazing respect to him, going out and backing it up and winning the title. It’s difficult," said Raducanu in the lead up to the Australian Open who said she wanted to meet the World Champion.

"Big time. I’d love to meet any top athletes who have succeeded in their fields.

"Darts is such a precision sport, I’d be so interested to hear what he had to say about it, how he stays focused, because you can be so close but not necessarily execute the final shot.

"In that sense, it’s similar to tennis."

She also spoke about advice she'd give to him and what she has learned herself from her sudden rise and brush with fame thus far.

"Not much prepares you for that, you feel like you’re constantly on edge because you’re being followed.

"But I think the biggest part is the judgment and the comments about every single decision that you make.

"That for me was really difficult to deal with, to try and desensitise myself to it and just understand that it comes with the territory you’re in."
