The WDF World Championship will take place between November 28 - December 7 and after uncertainty in previous years, the Lakeside homecoming has a TV deal which has already been confirmed.
The tournament sees Shane McGuirk defend his title that he won just under 12 months ago defeating Paul Lim in the final. He returns alongside a supporting cast of worldwide talent including Jimmy van Schie, Neil Duff, Jason Brandon and rising talent Mitchell Lawrie. Beau Greaves was defending champion in the ladies tournament but won't return for a fourth after deciding to move over to the PDC. So Mikuru Suzuki, Deta Hedman and Aileen de Graaf lead the way in the pursuit of glory.
In October, the WDF confirmed that S4C, a Welsh broadcaster would be the new televised home of the WDF World Championship. They showed the Six Nations Cup in June and Welsh Open in August.
They will cover eight sessions of the tournament at Lakeside across online and terrestrial TV. S4C's coverage begins both online and on their YouTube channel with the evening session on Wednesday December 3 and continues until the afternoon session on Friday December 5.
Albeit the second session of Quarter-Final Friday will be shown in full and live on the main S4C channel as will the evening session on Semi-Final Saturday and on the Finals Day on Sunday meaning the final in particular will be available on TV.

Beau Greaves has long been the women's World Champion but won't return this year.
In addition to this, the first five days will be shown in full on the WDF YouTube channel and live even in the UK meaning anyone with an internet connection wherever they are in the world can see it. Once the S4C broadcast begins, it will remain available for viewers outside the UK.
This means that for those in the US, Australia and throughout Europe including Germany, the Netherlands among others they will receive coverage of the tournament throughout without any need for the use of S4C or any channels in their respective nations.
The channel numbers you need: In Wales, S4C is channel 4 (Freeview, Freely) and 104 (Freeview HD, Sky, Virgin Media, Freesat). Outside of Wales, it’s Sky 134, Virgin Media 164, Freesat 120 and Freely 70 (online only)
