Beau Greaves' dreams of a third successive Women's WDF World Championship live on. In the quarter-finals on Friday night, the 20-year-old sensation eased past Jitka Cisarova in straight sets to set up a semi-final showdown with women's darts icon Deta Hedman

Cisarova produced the best leg of the first set, but it ultimately went in the direction of Greaves as she showed her class winning it 3-1. After a poor leg to start the second, Greaves showed her class with a 79 checkout and a 17 darter and it was a 12-darter to finish. True class as she went 180, 95, 180, 46 checkout to claim the win.

"I didn't play well," assessed Greaves self-critically though in her post-match interview. "But yeah, I mean I can't complain. I'm in the semi-finals and we'll go from there. I was practicing really well, I felt good and the second I got up there, they were just either going high or low and it's just so frustrating. It annoys me. But, at the end of the day, I won and hopefully I can play better tomorrow."

As mentioned, in the semi-finals, women's darts icon Deta Hedman awaits for Greaves, her long-time pairs partner and mentor. "I know Deta really well and obviously, I've played pairs with her for a few years now. I think we have a lot of respect for each other and I just hope we have a good game," Greaves previews. "I look forward to that game tomorrow and obviously try to play better than I did tonight."

"Deta and Paul, her partner, have brought me a long way. They've looked after me on the Tour, so I really have a lot of time for them both," Greaves adds. "I think we'll both really enjoy it and I just hope we have a really nice game. I really appreciate what Deta stands for and what she does for ladies game as well."
