Veenstra produces masterclass to deny Raman, Winstanley ends Kewish run at 2022 WDF Lakeside World Championship

Richard Veenstra produced a superb masterclass to dump out Brian Raman with only Cameron Menzies remains in terms of PDC Tour Card holders.
A 94.83 average for Veenstra capped off another exceptional display with a 4-2 sets win and nearly capped it off with a nine-dart finish missing double 12 then hitting the same target for a 10-darter to win. He now faces Neil Duff in the semi-finals.
Raman missed 61 on double four for a break to begin the tie. Veenstra as a result hit double 20 to make it 2-1. Both hit 180’s and Raman made it 2-2. Veenstra hit double 10 to seal the set.
Raman began the next set with two 180’s but despite not pinning a nine darter sealed it. Veenstra hit double 16 to level up. Veenstra was first to a finish with a 180 to leave 141 and left 52 in case Raman didn’t hit 82 which he didn’t and ‘Flyers’ pinned it as a result to go 2-1 up.
Veenstra hit a 129 to leave 32 which meant he sealed it. A 72 checkout saw Raman level up at 1-1. Raman hit double 14 to break and make it 2-1 and sealed a 2-1 sets deficit. 
Raman went 2-0 up on double 18 to go one away from tieing it up. Veenstra broke back to make it 2-1 and made it 2-2 on double 10.
Raman missed 81 on the bull to seal the set but Veenstra missed 96 for a 3-1 lead. Raman hit a 39 checkout to make it 2-2.
Veenstra pinned double 20 to go 2-0 up as he refocused. He missed set darts and Raman broke back on double one and the Belgian sent the set the distance.
Veenstra hit a 180 and double 20 to seal the set. Raman began the requisite set with a 104 checkout to go 1-0 up. Veenstra levelled up with a 64 checkout.
A 121 checkout was missed by the Dutchman and Raman pounced on double eight which allowed him to go one away from levelling up.
Veenstra made it 2-2 with a 100 checkout. He missed a 144 checkout to claim victory for a nine-dart finish but hit double 12 first time.
While Lorraine Winstanley is into her third World Championship semi-final after seeing off Tori Kewish ending the run of the superb Aussie who now faces either Aileen de Graaf or Beau Greaves.
Kewish hit a 180 and held throw from there. Winstanley hit double 10 to level. Kewish had multiple chances to hold and Winstanley broke to go one away from the opening set.
Kewish missed 66 for the break but Winstanley missed 80 which allowed Kewish to level at 2-2. Double eight saw Winstanley go one set up.
Kewish felt the pressure with the 56 checkout and busted and then was other opportunities and failed to pounce. But neither could Winstanley and finally Kewish hit double two. She hit the same target to break. A 56 checkout saw Kewish make it 1-1 in sets. 
Winstanley hit double five to go 1-0 up and hit a 120 checkout to go one away. She missed six match darts but Kewish missed 65 and Winstanley finally sealed it on the ninth match dart.
