Smith reflects after remarkable comeback win over Sherrock: "I feel like I should have lost that game"

Jeff Smith is through to the second round at the World Series of Darts Finals but only after producing a comeback to deny Fallon Sherrock.

Smith looked to be heading out at 5-1 down but four missed match darts cost Sherrock as 'The Silencer' claimed five straight legs to win in the deciding leg of the tie.

The Canadian Number One reflected afterwards and said he didn't deserve to win; while also admitting his confidence was low after the Autumn Series.

"I feel like I should have lost that game, but I'm still here," said Smith. "To be honest I was the second best player in the match.

"I got in the way of myself a little bit. I had a bad Autumn Series and my confidence was low, but I'll take the win. Hopefully tomorrow I'll be better again.

"Fallon came at me hard and I was looking to respond. She was the one that let me off in that match and she's a credit to the game."
