Van der Voort complains about dartboard at World Series of Darts Finals: 'I bet to any money in the world something is different'

Vincent van der Voort booked a 6-0 whitewash victory over Joe Cullen to secure a place in the second round at the World Series of Darts Finals.

However afterwards their was more attention to the conversation both players had on the stage. Van der Voort and Cullen complained about the the height of the dartboard on the stage and the throw distance to the board, which may have been incorrect.

''We practiced three hours in the practice room. And that board looked nothing like the board on the stage. It looked high and far. I bet to any money in the world something is different'', Van der Voort told broadcaster ITV.

The Dutchman will face world number three Gerwyn Price on Saturday evening in the last sixteen at the World Series of Darts Finals. ''Maybe he is the best player in the world at the moment. But he is not always motivated to be the best player in the world. But it's going to be a really difficult match against him.''
