The final is set at the 2025 World Seniors Darts Championship. Later this evening at the Circus Tavern in Purfleet, Graham Usher will face off against Ross Montgomery for the right to call themselves the Seniors World Champion.

In the first semifinal of the evening, Usher faced a tricky test in the form of the tournament's surprise package, Derek Coulson. The left-handed Welshman had already dispatched Mervyn King, Tony O'Shea and defending champion John Henderson en route to the final four, meaning Usher had to be fully focused to avoid another upset.

In the end, Usher impressively and somewhat comfortably secured the win and a spot in the final 3-0, although the scoreline doesn't fully tell the whole story. Averaging 87.55 to Coulson's 84.21, there wasn't exactly a great deal between the two players.

After winning the first set in a deciding leg, Usher then found himself trailing 2-0 in set 2. With Coulson unable to capitalise on the situation and level up the contest though, Usher resoundingly reeled off the next six legs unanswered to surge towards the finish in straight sets.

As mentioned, in the final, Usher is now set to face off against Ross Montgomery, who saw off pre-tournament favourite Steve Beaton 3-1.

It was Beaton who started the stronger of the two, taking the opening set, although with legs of 22, 15 and 21, the quality wasn't quite at fever pitch just yet. Montgomery though, seemed awoken by losing the opening set. In a stunning second set, the Scot stormed back to level terms, hitting an 11-darter and a 14-darter en route.

Montgomery continued to be on top after the break too. The Scot moved in front for the first time after winning set 3. Then though, as the crowd started to rile up in support of Beaton, Montgomery began to get effected by the noise in the venue, visibly letting the atmosphere get to him.

On the board though, the pair continued to be closely matched. As shown by the fact set 4 went all the way to a decider. Beaton had the darts, but with Montgomery one away from the win, the pressure was on the Bronzed Adonis. In the end, the pressure proved too much for Beaton as Montgomery sealed victory on double top.
