Cross coasted past James Wade in a 10-5 victory to avenge the loss from last week which saw him lose out on the winners bonus.
He averaged 100.3 with five 180’s and three ton plus checkouts on the way.
‘Voltage’ started off proceedings with a 13-darter to go one-nil up but Wade squared it up.
He set his stall out early and went 3-1 up with a break of throw. Cross though cut the gap to 3-2 and then went 4-3 up with a 102 average.
He extended his lead to 5-3 and despite Wade clawing a leg back, he went into the break at 6-4.
From there he extended his lead to 8-4 and was on the verge of the win and despite Wade clawing back a leg, he romped to the win.
