The two-time major champion came from behind to take a draw against Price, whose chances of participating in the play-offs were minimized. 'The Iceman' had a 6-3 lead after nine legs and seemed to cruise into a easy win.
However Price missed three darts to move 7-3 ahead. Gurney came back to 6-6, but the Welshman managed to get the advantage again with a 96 finish in leg 13. Price had the draw in the last leg and missed one matchdart on double 13 in the decider. Gurney had left 64 and hit double 16 for a draw.
As a result Price remains sixth in the standings with sixteen points. Gurney and Mensur Suljovic have seventeen points, while number three James Wade has eighteen points.
