VIDEO: Gurney and Price argue on stage and have to be separated by security

Gerwyn Price and Daryl Gurney had to be dismantled by security guards on Thursday evening after their confrontation in the Premier League Darts.
Gurney managed to claim a point after being 6-3 and 7-6 behind. The Northern Irishman celebrated this too exuberantly in the eyes of Price. The Welshman shared his opinion to 'Superchin' and a discussion followed on stage. Security guards had to enter the stage to separate the two players.
Price revealed afterwards that Gurney accused him of talking behind him. The Grand Slam champion then shared his suspicion that opponents are trying to provoke him to put him on a suspension.

- As prize money increases each year and there are now more tournaments then logically breaking the £2 million barrier is going to happen, only thing preventing it is the now deeper strength in depth of the darting field. If you took Taylor’s best two consecutive years and substituted the prize money from now onto the tournaments he won he would have passed the £2 million.Mysstree26-11-2024
