Nijman extends unbeaten streak to seven matches with wins over Adams and Edhouse, Mitchell eases past Van Barneveld

Wessel Nijman is a player on a roll and that has continued with the Dutchman making it to seven matches unbeaten in a row with victories over Ritchie Edhouse and Martin Adams respectively.

Nijman first saw off Adams in a 5-2 victory which saw him hit two 180's, 41 percent of his doubles as well as an 84 average in an impressive display.

This was then backed up with a 5-2 win over Edhouse which saw him hit six 180's which is the most by a player in one match so far in the tournament. As a result, he hit a 93 average with 5/14 on doubles. Is he the player to beat?

Scott Mitchell also added some important points to his standings by seeing off Raymond van Barneveld who recovered from his poor start against 'Wolfie'. It was wrapped up with a 105 checkout and 5/8 on the doubles overall.
